
Dawn Holliday
Background
Dawn joined LaPorte from a national brokerage and brought experience of almost 20 years in the insurance industry to her current role. She began her insurance career with a TPA as a Benefit Analyst and Account Manager for self-funded plans, plus she has experience with small/large group plans as well as level-funded, Medicare, and Individual plans. She has tenure in Human Resources as a Benefit Specialist managing around three-thousand employees health, disability, 401k, and ancillary benefits which affords her a unique perspective from the employer side of the group benefits world. With her industry knowledge and a consultative approach, her goal is to provide each client with superior account management and customer service, to deliver effective and expedient resolutions — whether it is day to day account management or collaborating with the internal LaPorte team and the group on design and implementation, her mission is for the betterment of employer and employee experiences with their group benefits. Fostering a positive partnership with clients and their employees is a priority for Dawn, listening to clients, understanding their needs, and bringing ‘next level’ service and solutions is what the client can expect from her.
Dawn loves spending time with her adult children and rescue pets and is passionate about cooking and wine. She and her husband enjoy spending their weekends on the water fishing and kayaking or golfing and traveling. Dawn still advocates for disabled and homeless veterans through her non-profit organization with the assistance of her two sons and builds websites for non-profit groups and veteran owned businesses.
