Whether you need second home insurance for your vacation house, higher liability limits to shield your wealth from the risk of lawsuits, or D&O insurance to protect your assets while you serve on a nonprofit board, we can help you navigate your insurance options.
When you work with us, you don’t just gain access to insurance expertise and top insurance products – you also receive exceptional customer service. Our success has been possible due to our commitment to relationships. We’ll go above and beyond to serve your immediate and long-term needs.
Protecting Your Home
If disaster strikes, homeowners insurance will help you rebuild as quickly as possible, allowing your family to get back to life as usual. Homeowners insurance may also cover additional living expenses (such as hotel costs) when your home is uninhabitable. On top of that, homeowners insurance will provide personal liability coverage in case your family is sued.
However, not all homeowners insurance is the same. We’ll work with you to make sure you have the right limits and endorsements to cover your risks. We can also help you secure flood and earthquake insurance, as standard homeowners insurance does not cover these losses.
If you have a vacation home, we can help you secure second home insurance. This is a little different than regular homeowners insurance because vacation homes are frequently vacant and your liability coverage needs may be different. We’ll help you navigate the differences to avoid coverage gaps or overlaps.

FAQs
01Does homeowners insurance cover wildfire damage?
Yes, a standard homeowners insurance policy covers wildfire damage. If your home is impacted by a wildfire, your insurance policy will cover the cost to rebuild your home and repair or replace your personal belongings, up to the coverage limit. A standard policy will also cover additional living expenses (such as hotel costs) while your home is undergoing repairs. Policies may also include additional living expenses for government-mandated evacuations and smoke damage. We’ll work with you to help you find a policy that meets your needs.
Note that although standard homeowners insurance covers wildfire losses, it typically excludes certain disasters. For example, homeowners insurance does NOT cover flood or earthquake damage. However, you can secure coverage separately, which is something we can help with.
02How much homeowners insurance do I need?
Homeowners should secure enough homeowners insurance to cover the full replacement cost of their homes. This requires securing limits that are high enough to cover your home and purchasing a policy with replacement cost coverage. As construction costs increase, you may need to raise your insurance limits. It’s also important to make sure you have adequate coverage for your personal belongings. You may need to list high-value items (such as jewelry or art) separately on your insurance policy.
03Will my personal insurance cover my small business?
Your personal insurance policies likely WON’T provide adequate insurance coverage for your small business. Standard homeowners insurance policies exclude or severely limit coverage for business operations. This means your property coverage may not cover business property (such as equipment or inventory) and your liability insurance may not cover business-related lawsuits. Likewise, personal auto insurance typically excludes commercial activity.
Don’t worry – we can help you obtain commercial insurance for your small business.
